William, a hopeful but lost pianist, longs for connection with the world around him. Not just with his audience, but perhaps with someone special. In an attempt to be the social hero he's dreamt of, he makes his way to his next gig. To his dismay, it's not what he'd hoped for. Does anyone even notice he's there?
Just as William gets pushed further and further into his own isolation, something shifts. A true connection is revealed. William finds himself for just a moment, but not exactly in the way he'd planned.
